From July 16 to 19, the 17th International Cocoa and Chocolate Show 2026 was held at the Lima Convention Center. The event brought together producers, exporters, international buyers, and representatives of institutions involved in the cocoa value chain. CEA participated in this important edition, reaffirming its commitment to the development and promotion of Peruvian cocoa.

During the opening ceremony, Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism highlighted the significant growth of Peruvian cocoa in international markets. In 2025, exports of cocoa and cocoa-derived products exceeded US$1.619 billion, representing a 26% increase compared to the previous year. Peruvian cocoa reached more than 70 markets, positioning Peru as the second-largest exporter of cocoa beans in Latin America and the sixth-largest worldwide.

CEA’s participation in this event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with key industry stakeholders, gain insights into the sector’s main trends, and continue promoting a supply chain built on quality, traceability, and sustainability.

The event also featured an International Business Roundtable, with the participation of exporting companies and buyers from several countries, further establishing the International Cocoa and Chocolate Show as one of the leading platforms for promoting Peruvian cocoa in global markets.

At CEA, we remain committed to bringing high-quality cocoa to the world while strengthening partnerships that contribute to the sustainable growth of the industry and enhance the international recognition of Peruvian origin.
